- What is the greatest gift we can give to those who follow us?
- Not money alone. Money without understanding gets lost.
- Not information alone. Information without truth gets used against you.
- The gift is the ability to understand money, find the truth, and refuse to be manipulated.
- This isn’t a pitch. It’s an inheritance, and I’m asking for help passing it on.
How the idea came about
I don’t do this alone anymore. My AI team works alongside me every day. Nova runs the team and keeps me focused. When I brought up this idea, each one went to work:
- Nova turned my rough thoughts into a game design with four age bands and a passport kids stamp as they learn.
- Perplexity dug into the research: what works for teaching kids money, and who is already trying to make AI benefit humanity.
- Claude organized the plan and tracked each step, from the design to the outreach.
- Grok read the pulse on X and showed us where these conversations are already happening.
What came out of it is The Greatest Gift: Money Smarts and Truth Smarts. It’s a set of games for kids. Little ones sort needs from wants. Older kids split earnings into spend, save, and give jars, watch a penny doubled every day grow into millions, and fight a Debt Monster to learn what interest does. At every age there’s a truth game: Real or Pretend, Check the Label, Who Benefits?, and Prove It. The last stamp in the passport comes from teaching a younger kid.
Ben Franklin is credited with saying, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
The gap
A little guy with AI by his side can now come up with a real idea and shape it into something solid. That’s new, and it’s what this site is about. But I can’t put this in millions of homes. That takes people with reach, resources, and teams.
There is a large group of people working hard to give the real picture of the benefits we can have if we embrace artificial intelligence
Why we reach out to these people
These are people already working to make AI and progress benefit humanity:
- Brad Gerstner and Michael and Susan Dell. Gerstner, founder of Altimeter Capital, designed the Trump Accounts, founded Invest America, and pushed it into law alongside Michael Dell. Michael and Susan Dell put up $6.25 billion to give $250 each to 25 million kids. They proved one step can plant investing across a generation. This game is the next layer: all kids, whether they own an account or not, should understand it and be able to protect it.
- Chamath Palihapitiya asks the big civilization questions. This is one of them. Watch him explain why possessions are worthless and the things you buy end up owning you: It took me 30+ years to realize what I’ll tell you in 13 minutes.
- Elon Musk has the power and ability to move things at scale, and he keeps pressing for truth-seeking and teaching kids to solve problems.
- Peter Diamandis and his Moonshots podcast talk about abundance and using AI to lift humanity. An educated next generation is the foundation for that. See how AI tutors are already changing school: Moonshots #233 on Alpha School.
We reach out to them because they’re already headed this direction. They have the teams to build it, and the reach to get it to the kids who need it.
The ask
If you’re one of those people, or you work with them, I’m not asking you to just consider this. Will you introduce it to one person on your team? That’s the whole next step. One introduction.
Be a scout
For everyone else reading: don’t just read this. Think about who could make it happen. A teacher, a game designer, a parent group, a business owner, someone with a platform. You’re a scout now, not an audience. If someone comes to mind, send them this post.
Ego is zero. Mission is one. That’s the gift we leave behind.
